What is the story behind your given name?

The story behind my name is easy. Maw’s first name starts with the letter “F”. I blogged about this topic before and for whatever reason, Filipinos tend to name their child/ren by forming creative names based on the letters or combination of names from family or relative members.

So my given name means “pretty” and “faith” in Spanish. But my nick name means a “red-headed” son. So while I don’t look pretty enough and my faith is a borderline atheist/agnostic, I am far from being red-haired male of Irish lineage. Bahahaha!
