The last the temp agency working for the client’s H/R asked moi: `Are you late on your payments?` The headhunter working with me asked: `Are you able to pay your bills, auto, rent, etc.`? I told her I was able to feed myself. And all that was regarding a credit check. That was three weeks ago.

The current temp job asked: `Is it okay to get a background check? [Our] client requires it.` I said, `Sure`. But I also mentioned that I already went through the background check when I signed up with you [the headhunter]. They’ve got nothing else except my last name, which looks like Hispanic.
