This week, we’re getting philosophical — we want to hear about what you think the role and scope of government should be.

The role and scope of government should be limited. No person is above or below a law. No president, no Congressman, no Senator, no Supreme Court Justice could ever represent one person. While it is the responsibility of the government to “take care” of its “home turf”, too much imposition upon the populace would lead to anarchy.

Taxation could be eliminated. Gays could marry. Obesity could be controlled. However, there is only one thing to remember. Even great thinkers need to be held in check and that’s the roles of the three branches. Whatever the scope could be “fixed” over time.
