In today’s writing challenge, I will write about my impressions from today’s alleged “terror” attack in Boston, Massachusetts. While watching FoxNews from around 1300 pm to about 1430 pm my local time, I imagined/noticed/picked-up some things. Remember: I’m just observing and do NOT know anything because that’s just me.
First, the person. I don’t know who it is. And I imagined someone, a male wearing a medium to light blue hood sweat jacket, just standing near or in front of the blow-out. A suicidal? Maybe he was just relishing the moment to be dead with others around the area. I don’t know if there are more fools involved.
Second, the places. The two smokes from two different locations (as per FoxNews again) looked like light blue and light yellow. It doesn’t appear to be bad to look at from far away but my concern was inhaling it. I saw how the camera crews/photographers/whatever didn’t approach the affected scene near the finish line showing 4:09:whatever timestamp. Hmmm.
I noticed one of the blow-out was in a cordoned-off area, which had blue banners wrapped around the fence in front of a building or something with blue/dome-like coverings. That was strange. It was an aerial video. I saw the brown-colored sidewalk/cement/whatever.
I picked-up “actors” bleeding again because the police had a difficult time getting past the blue banners, chain-link fence and wooden fences, too. That’s a security “no-no”, a thought I imagined. Can’t go in/can’t go out. I don’t know if that’s to keep some excitable spectators from lunging at the exhausted runners coming through the finish line.
Third, the things. The thing that bugged me is that the event was held on “Patriot’s Day, commemorating the opening battle of the Revolutionary War.” That’s weird timing to boot. I wasn’t aware of the marathon or the revolutionary. Come to think of it, it’s probably to trigger a subconscious fear of something related to bombs. Weird.
I noticed other things but these are the more obvious stuff that I thought would be interesting to talk about. Oh, and Cropley Square. I wonder where’s the Compass pointing?
Again, I was watching FoxNews based on whatever the media happen to “put-out” there at the moment.
