With a handful
of spare change,
there’s a mug of
hot cocoa
waiting inside
the comfort
of a warm diner.
And for
“two cents” extra,
white marshmallows
are optional.
But
for a former
white collar
worker
in a
world of
option trading,
marshmallows
was not worth
the risk.
His day
quickly crashed
overnight:
And with it,
his world —
home, family, and
wealth.
He looks out
the window and
sees his life’s work —
the droplets
of tears of those
lives he ruined.
