Knock, knock! Who’s there?
I’m a tax collector. Can I come in?
Okay, but make it quick. I have an appointment.
I will only take an hour of your time.
[An hour or so later…]
Tomorrow I’ll be back with more paperwork…
[The next day…]
Knock, knock! Who’s there?
[Silence…]
Open up! This is the police!
We’re here to arrest your for not paying.
[Silence…]
The SWAT knocks down the door.
They find no one but a talking parrot.
“Out the back door!” yelled the parrot.
But it was too late.
The sneak left the country for good.
The end…
Moral of the story: Don’t let strangers in. And always have a “back door” behind “closed doors”.

Author’s note: Instead of taking my own photo(s) to fulfill the “requirements” of weekly photo challenge, I’ve decided to attempt writing poetry based on Matt’s photo on entrance.
