“Bolting from home is a familiar phenomenon for many families who have children with autism.” The more severe symptoms of autism, the more likely the child was to bolt, the study found. Unlike wandering, which means to walk around aimlessly, in most cases individuals have a clear goal in mind.
While getting ready to leave the house for today’s work/morning mass, Maw told of a story about patients who would wander freely around a facility in the Philippines. They would see a BIG sign above the “exit” where they wanted to “escape”. The sign read in Filipino: “Welcome everyone.” When the patients see/read this sign, they would turn around the “exit/escape” and ended up back inside the facility.
I wonder if this is how TPTB and pals fool the stupid human sheeple into thinking that they have their alleged “freedom”. Think about it REALLY hard, folks. No matter how we “bolt” we are in still in prison, if not only in our minds but everything else associated with the limitations of the human form.
