Today, we held two winning raffles at an employment alumni of Maw. That was rare! Oh, I squealed in joy as I approached the gray-haired, big boobed, woman with the mic – twice!

Both winning prizes are related to food – one of corn, nuts and sweets for eating and one of holding food for eating, including a metallic thermos. The food served as mixed salad, bow-tied noodle salad, bowl of chili, chicken parts, sliced roast beef and sausages.
I was dancing to oldies with Paw’s old black umbrella. It protected against the sunshine. And I sang along (while munching on BBQ corn -freshly husked) to the Australian group Air Supply – `All Out Of Love`.
The weather was originally cloudy with some fluffs and puffs. But then clear blue skies and cool winds made the event tolerable because Paw and I didn’t know anyone there except one couple (Nati and her deadbeat husband Amado) whom Maw called last minute.
We arrived early around 11:00am and left early around 1:30pm, even though the event is until 5:00pm. More people were coming in as registered or paying at the table. Most were Filipinos with mixtures of other old timers, newer staff and patients.
