This morning at around 3:00am, I awoke to spasms of coughing. This went on and off until six or seven in the morning. After laying in bed after using the toilet, I had another thought about my nasal passages and how I could “decline” any congestion “residing” inside my left nostril. Within a few minutes, the congestion mysteriously disappeared. I didn’t want anything to do with sickness.
You know the saying/lyrics: “You take the high road and I’ll take the low road.”
Well, it so happens that both roads serves as passageways for the breath whereby the high road in my imagination is the nasal passage and the low road is the mouth. However, one passageway (the high road) allows no food whatsoever. While the low road allows for both food and word to enter and exit.
I think a breath of fresh air is all we need to sustain ourselves on this hellish planet. Only the mouth happens to a much bigger and more demanding passageway that through the nostrils.
