My new desk now sports more desktop clutters, including three bulky-ass three equipments: the old Canon MX432 printer/scanner, the old NeatConnect WiFi scanner; and my newest Epson Foto FF-640, which helped my scanning of old photographic paper archiving project in less than one week.
This new Epson box now holds these old photographs, ready to be dumped in the recycling bin or stored in the closet upstairs. The scanned images are now in the clouds for the NSA and their cohort pals of advanced ALIEN entities for good times and hearty laughter. I’m halfway done with the loose photos that were received by others and not taken by Dad, who usually writes stuff on the back.
One batch scans in one minutes. One batch is usually 24-36 photos per Kodak strips of film negatives, most of which are carefully stored in special plastics and labeled properly for cross-references. The other negatives are circular Kodak DISKS, which was a novel idea but short-lived. I don’t think there’s a studio capable of enlarging photos from these film negatives.
My next goal is to toss out the old photo album holders and other picture frames. I’m thinking of donating at our local yellow-colored trucks – The Goodwill, of course. I usually get a receipt and scribble my items donated for scanning and then discarding, of course. There is no real value for ANY donated items. I don’t claim deductions for this stuff.
Yeah, so MAGA is possible ss y’all can see I’ve been purchasing stuff online. I’m awaiting my two cat shirts by next week and that’s it for my temporary shopping splurge. I’m having a VERY difficult time getting rid of stuff, most of which belongs to the dying granny and senile old man. Sheesh.
