During lunch with Mike today, I cited an example of Paw and how he would pack his lunch the night before work the following day without fail. And Maw would help sometimes with the choices of food. This was said off-hand about feeding my family.
And it is with the sad reality that by the end of this year, Hoan and I would be unemployed from the six-month temporary job assignment. The backlog is pretty much finished and the girl’s assignment would be over by the end of this month in October.
I suggested to Mike to make the sacrifice (which sounded bloody) for his family by bringing his own food instead of ordering online for sandwiches and such. His money is tight and the food money (he wasted) could have gone to oil changes.
Like his car perhaps needing an oil change, my oil indicator is showing the “hot” zone. I’m waiting for the 70,000 mark before going in for the oil change, even though the reminder sticker is showing a service for 69,000.
And I still have to pay out of pocket for the dentist of around $181.00 and then feed my family, too, which is supposed to have gone to paying off another debt. It’s rough when I’ve not seen them in so many years apart.
We were near the cul-de-sac towards the back parking lot. And at this point, he was the only one to have heard how I’m prepared to file for bankruptcy. It’s my fault for believing in a lie after all these ten slong years.
I simply refused to get my family involved in my failed reality. I told Mike I wanted to visit Hong Kong, Australia, Egypt, Mecca and Taj Mahal – one day – if “Plan A” should ever materialize with Hawaii being my designation for a honeymoon.
