Do you ever see wild animals?

20241231-1014. We no longer see any wild animals. There used be squirrels and birds. Now all I see are some cats visiting our front yard. I see worms coming out after rain storms. And we have are usual pests of ants and spider, both of which I avoid killing as much as possible except when ants get in my way of preparing food and using the bathroom and when I accidentally vacuum either ants and spiders during “house cleaning”. I would announce to the little ones that I’m “house cleaning” and say in my Filipino/Tagalog (dialect): Tabi-Tabi-Poh, meaning excuse me, sirs.
