Topic #58: Have you ever bought anything that has its own infomercial (like the ShamWow® or Snuggie™)? What compelled you to make your purchase? If you haven't, what have you been tempted to buy?
Here is a list of junk that I wanted to buy, just to `evaluate` and at least try out:
-Magic putty/tape. The putty/tape could hold broken pieces together and plug up holes.
-High powered water wand. This could get into crevices and take out dirt and probably paint of my car.
-Pedicure egg. There are lots of dry skins that could be scraped off without resorting to a LIVE blade meant to cut away hardened callus found underneath the feet.
-Steam cleaner. Steam is supposed to be hotter than boiling water. If it's not hot enough to the touch. How can it possibly disinfect the surfaces of counters?
-Space savers. I liked the idea of multiple hangers in one. But I believe even the bar in a normal closet would give out from the weight.
-Upside-down tomato. Growing a tomato plant upside down would mean more bigger and better tomatoes because water and nutrients goes into the vegetable due to gravity!
