Just had a thought about Paw: He may have undiagnosed autism or something similar to processing simple instructions because although he is very intelligent (citing statistical data about sports and politics, people and their names) and lack social skills (not knowing when to open the door for women, how to tell stories without him using monologue in conversation and timing), he definitely does NOT know how to assemble things, read the manual/instructions, or know how to use simple tools, for example such as a hammer or where to place the nails without HARSH direction and/or gentle guidance from Maw, the forewoman, of course! He has suffered greatly throughout his life from those who do not understand his limitations (especially his own son) and Maw has had it with him verbally/daily but is VERY patient and understanding all these years but not as much now that she is old/disabled/on her last legs in life.
It’s like starving people who would will do anything to feed themselves, too. But to use the mental capacity of a disabled person as a prop for legislating gun control is NOT fair! They are innocent. I know. Paw tends to zoom/walk fast in front of us. Take for example this afternoon 01/02/2013:. We were using the mall bathroom. I was waiting near the women’s restroom and I saw Paw zoom out of the men’s bathroom. Maw later came out and I told her what happened. Although Paw is an elderly man now, he has done that many times in the past. We saw him wandering around FAR away. God, have mercy! I instructed Paw to next time: Stop, Look, Listen and Walk. Usually he remembers better when I personally repeat a mantra for his sake. It works that simple. Huh.
