I don’t use artificial sweeteners. Yet, Maw continues to add one yellow packet of “Splenda” (sucralose) into her morning coffee. She used to add either “Sweet’N Low” (dextrose) or “Equal” (aspartame). She is diabetic.
I drink my coffee without sugars but add organic milk. If the petitioners want these artificial sweeteners in their dairy products, I’m not buying/eating milk or dairy products! That means I won’t drink coffee or eat cereals and cookies.
Actually, I should stop ingesting dairy/products and start a detox diet with tea! After all, I’m supposed to be “Asian” and surely my cells would appreciate something more familiar and healthy, too.
In the past, I’ve eaten yogurt, cream cheese, sour cream, whipping cream, egg-nog, half-and-half, and other dairy products. Since my veins are clogged from good eating, I don’t indulge all that much. My bad!
Yesterday, Maw heard over the local radio station about flavored food and she wondered if inexpensive milk, for example, may contain these sugars. Whereas organic, milk is expensive and supposedly doesn’t contain artificial sweeteners.
