Last night Maw was pissed because Paw didn’t want to help her cook a meal — diniguan (or a Filipino meat dish of bloody meat). Instead he does what he wants: gardening; since the pick-up for garbage, recycling and yard trimmings are Friday mornings.
After eating dinner, washing up and saying the three chaplets for the rosary, she continued to verbally express her frustrations with a stubborn husband, whose relatives are the same — no exception, including the children and so on.
Now she will do whatever she wants. She will no longer cook for Paw and me because we have “money” to buy our own food. She will attempt to attend noontime mass at Our Lady of Peace today. She has not driven in years! So I wish her good luck and hope that she doesn’t get into a freak accident or something!
With that said, I had to tell her about Yesha’s FB message sent to me this Monday. I didn’t have the heart to stress Maw out and ruin her sunny days. But since Paw already pissed her off with his UNCOOPERATIVE trait and after Maw told me about the dreams of her deceased parents, I knew it was a good time to let her know about the medications her sister needed.
But the catch was that Yesha wanted Maw’s permission to sell the rice field (for the medications). Since the “title” is with Maw, there is no way Yesha could get her requested PHOTOCOPY of the title from me! I got pissed off because this was NOT the proper way to conduct business. I told her that we will talk to our lawyer(s).
My spider sense was tingling (regarding her “monkey business” for a long time after she contacted me via FB). I’m protective of my TANGIBLE ASSETS. Her interest was to secure a VISA to Australia so she could “marry” the wrinkly, OLD white man, who looks like Landy, a tongue-flicking Reptilian with facial bumps and uneven skin texture. In order to get a VISA, she needed proof of PROPERTY, which belongs to Maw and her sister.
Yesha (with all the money that she claimed to have saved) doesn’t have a house and Maw cannot understand why her seemingly intelligent niece is bothering us about her mother’s medication. But instead, the fat blob lives in a run-down “apartment” in Manila where her employment is located. Maw scolded Yesha really good and made her cry.
Although the “lost soul” is a “smooth talker”, Yesha chose a path of stupidity. Relatives claim she gambles and does prostitution with her “business clients”. She denies these allegations. She claims her brother Rico is abusive to her and that she worries about the “apo” (or grandchildren) starving.
Maw told her to “cut the cord” with her abusive brothers and stupid relatives; take care of her health and loose some weight from her fatty, fat ass and comfort the stroke victim, her mother, my auntie Aida. Maw told her that ALL those evil relatives need to know what it’s like to struggle. Yesha is paying the karmic price of her mother’s stupidity.
Aida was noted for stealing money from her mother, my late Lola Valing. And Maw got punished with spanking for Aida’s misdeed. And Maw’s resentment toward her younger sister won’t be forgotten or forgiven. Even her late, eldest sister, my auntie Anita, complained to Maw back in 2005 that Aida didn’t give back the change after going shopping for Anita’s grocery.
So my involvement and action would be to buy back my maternal properties “as far as the eyes can see”. I intend to distribute in CASH whatever is due to the surviving children of the siblings listed on the will of my grandmother Valing. The grandchildren (like my brother and me) will have to ask the surviving “parents” for the share.
I expect TPTB to speed things up, now. Because I plan on moving forward and not backwards.
