20221008-1234. My preferred “blogging site” is Twatter because of sharing icons available on video platforms such as Bitchute, Rumble, YouTube, etc where I get some of my content.
Whereas a self-hosted or full-service platforms are really designed for site owners who are professionals and/or in the business of making money.
I am neither a professional nor interested in making money. And so “owning” a domain is a waste of time and money, seriously.
For bloggers who share personal content, much like diaries or online journals, it’s better to go “free” like Tumblr or Blogger/Blogspot, which is probably where I’ll end up; since nobody is viewing my WordPress stuff.
I’ll just yeet the monthly stuff for both this self-hosted stuff and the server that I really don’t need.
My goal was to NOT be censored for sensitive, graphic AND truthful stuff. Apparently this is what’s happening. So I’ll just stop blogging before next week and start anew on my other platform.
The Happiness Engineers are trying to help but NOT by much. I wasted on domains and such and will let those expire. I can’t renew something if there is NO traffic for stuff that other professionals already have online.
But I really miss the templates. That’s what I like about WordPress – the window dressing and appearances and ability to make stuff creatively customized and pretty, too!
That’s all. Flynnspaws.
Hello Flynn, nice, and good luck!
