Start ‘em young! | Russel Ray Photos
“I never had children mainly because I didn’t want children.”
“I do like children as long as they belong to someone else; as long as I can enjoy them from a distance;”
Anyway, long ago, Landy and I were sitting next to each other, on a wooden object, at a park, and while looking at the children playing in the area in front of us: He reached both arms over to his right, leaned on me a bit and tried to hug, or “cuddle”, or whatever TF he was attempting – call it “getting close”.
I stiffened up and cringed and was a bit annoyed because he was a fugly and we just recently met via Yahoo! Messenger! And he offhandedly said: “I don’t like noisy children.” And I pushed him away, knowing that he was a creep. From then on, I knew my prospect for being married with children was never going to happen.
The same thing was said about the boy to his Twit wifey. He too didn’t like children because of the noise and especially the parties, which he certainly does NOT like, a eerie similarity to Uncle Dead who refused to attend small parties, like birthdays, thrown by his relatives.
So there you go, Russel. You, the boy and I are within the same age bracket, a generation of creative misfits who could only celebrate life through the eyes of other children – forever young at heart, never really growing up as grown-ups through the years…
