San Jose police pilot Desmond Casey was killed on Oct. 25, 1999, while flying Air1.
Herman Yee, a mechanic on board, was also killed.

Addendum thoughts-1220 AM 08/22/2012: I recall having VERY bad thoughts. And so the energy was released to that aircraft because it was so loud as it passed directly over our home and traveling in a general southeast direction (between 140 to 160 degrees). My bad, really.
