A few minutes ago, I was dispensing my late night snack of Apple Jack in a glass of milk. I noticed the black/blue vein sitting atop the middle of my right thumb joint. So I decided to give it a “traction” treatment by pulling the top digit and holding it steady while I gave my right hand a twist!
Praise “God”! Now the joint in my right thumb slides smoother without a “stop” during a mid-bend of the digit. Thusly, the angry vein has settled nicely back into place. I have suffered many years by my own hands during work — using my right thumb to process keyboard entries.
Now I am relearning how to type by using my left thumb to press the “space bar” right now. It’s working well! However, I am concerned mobile blogging will set the thumb out of its place. If only there is a technology that is better than the Swype keyboard, I wouldn’t resort to my thumbs for entries ever again!
