Maw and Paw protected us from bad people. They raised the boy and I in the comfort of suburbia. They didn’t divorce but had the usual disagreements of daily activities.
The boy came home from work yesterday evening was about our cousin Shillster. For whatever reason, he kept bringing up that nutball in our conversation. I told the boy she is still a child (for you see she is a grown woman around my age but is childish – putting on a Santa Claus hat and holding a big plastic garbage bag for Christmas presents – as per a photo three years ago)!
Anyway, I told the boy that no one was there to protect the girl from the divorce of her parents. And naturally, she would have her outburst and blame the relatives for hurting her equally vindictive mother.
It’s so sad to see how people would protect each other from hurt and from the truth. It’s so stupid to know that people cannot learn to cope with their problems without ruining the lives of other people.
What they are doing is evil. Sorry, I wish them karma. Forgive me, Lord.
