I would suggest/recommend this course of action. Why Flynn? The mail carriers won’t have to brave harsh weather condition or dog bites or get into fist fighters with a crazy/stupid “person” per a “federal worker” trying to deliver mail in a remote/rural area.

So I would “advocate” for the protection/health/safety our nation’s mail carrier for sub/urban and rural, heck, all areas and have those street/sidewalk/post office boxes. Those with video surveillance on their property are lucky.
