At times the parakeets would get fussy over their diet of mostly seed. They could care less if their supplements of dried pellets ranging from vegetables and fruits to dried eggs and other greens are left over in their container made out resin and really designed as a feeder for the reptiles, such as turtles and lizards.
The persistent sounds of “tweet, eat, feed” could be heard in the distance and only I, the Flynn, could oblige, drop everything and see to it that their pernickety ways by way of little piercing voices to be feed their rounded and smoother foodstuff of millet seeds are fulfilled to the brim.
It’s not a good way to stop liver disease so prevalent in indoor birds kept as our beloved pets and members of the family. But what can I do?
