2012/03/13 11:42. Forgive me for on of my old/ongoing cross/thoughts/stream of consciousness.
As I listen to “El Rushbeau” and per references to my OLD blog entries regarding OIL energy and pals, I thought it was a “good idea” (back then) to be independent of foreign oil from Middle Eastern nations such as Saudi Arabia, Nigeria, Syria, etc. But since these desert nations rely on oil export, let them have their natural resources. (But it’s sad their own people cannot benefit from the revenue/profit).
Anyway, since the infrastructure/oil extracting equipment of “horses” are already in place/established on these desert climate and since there are underground coal “shale” yet to be “extracted” domestically, I figured — it does NOT matter if oil/coal is the primary source of energy to run the world. I do NOT care if other forms of alternative fuel/energy has already been discovered/suppressed or not.
What matters (to me, at least) is the discovery of highly advanced “transportation” devices, such as emergency teleporters/teleportations and my long-awaited, non-nuclear powered hovercraft (UFO) instead of electrical/gasoline-powered, hybrid vehicles. Of course, none of us will ever get our ponies or jet packs.
So whatever TPTB and pals want is okay as long as the increasing gasoline prices doesn’t piss off clueless/poor people. If we had jobs to buy hybrid cars, that would be fine for the businesses selling these pieces of crap. However, since any form of government subsistence falls short of “greed” to own these luxury goods, then we are stuck with old “clunkers”, such as my 1998 Ford Mustang, which still runs good, mine y’all.
But in hindsight, I “sensed” that people will get creative enough and actually FLY off into space without rocket ships and finally go home — wherever that is. What do you think about that, huh?
