Hello boys and girls! Here is today’s word: Object sexuality.
Object sexuality or objectum sexuality, in German objektophil (OS), [1] is a pronounced emotional and often romantic desire towards developing significant relationships with particular inanimate objects. Those individuals with this expressed preference may feel strong feelings of attraction, love, and commitment to certain items or structures of their fixation. For some, sexual or even close emotional relationships with humans are incomprehensible. Object-sexual individuals also often believe in animism, and sense reciprocation based on the belief that objects have souls, intelligence, feelings, and are able to communicate.[2] Contrary to sexual fetishism, the object to an OS person is viewed as their partner and not as a means to an end to enhance a human sexual relationship.

For example, some people actually married their desired “object(s) of affection”, such as a pillow, the Eiffel Tower, the Berlin Wall, etc. Some medical experts believe this condition is a type of parphilia,
is a biomedical term used to describe sexual arousal to objects, situations, or individuals that are not part of normative stimulation and that may cause distress or serious problems for the paraphiliac or persons associated with him or her. A paraphilia involves sexual arousal and gratification towards sexual behavior that is atypical and extreme.[1]

After tonight’s surprise phone call from the boy about one hour ago, I learned that people who don’t listen to reason (or wise words) will either end up getting hurt or dying as a result of their passion in life. Earlier today, a cyclist crashed and burned on his face on the asphalt; remained unconscious for five minutes; got some teeth and wind knocked out of him; and had to travel by ambulance to get treated. The boy emailed the Korean guy (typically stubborn and full of pride) a month ago to BREAK while going downhill. The rush may be exhilarating but the Korean guy clipped a SMALL stone (a symbolic karma for the fool), lost control of his bicycle, twisted hard on the right and went splat on the ground.
So if you have a passion for doing something to the point of addiction (which may be a form of emotional immaturity) or keeping anything, albeit hoarding, don’t let anything get too your head or heart. You don’t have to feel abused or deprived of whatever was lacking at that time — love, food, toys, etc. You can find comfort without seeking the need for attention or acknowledgement of others by directing your awareness away from objects (inanimate or alive) and towards yourself — in peace and alive, of course.
