Topic # 570 : You're house is on fire. Which keepsake items do you grab, and why?

External drives
Since I have photos in several boxes and I don’t know which ones to take, I’ll take three because most of my images and documents are archived.

Jewelry boxes
Jewelries can be sold for cash, which will be just enough for food and fuel. One is a brown wooden musical box with “The Aniversary Song”. The other is black painted one given by Dad from Japan. Both have REAL gold and diamonds.

Cash
My wallet contains some cash and one card. Therefore, my purse is the first one to come with me.

Parakeets
I guess pets and mementos count as keepsakes. But the bird cage is TOO large.
