Well, Paw couldn’t accompany me to get my income tax filed for close to $200. He sounded slow over the phone en route home bound and looked slow too in person when I intercepted him walking around the backyard in the FREEZING outdoor air! I don’t know how he could tolerate such cold climates. As for Maw, she hurried to get dressed and then took along her crochet project — a hat and scarf for the boy. The color of the yarn is dark blue. So from 6:30pm to 7:30pm, the old woman was VERY patient to wait on the hard chair while the robot-looking guy manned the front desk. His hairs was trimmed very nicely on front and cut very closely to the scalp. The hairstyle could be similar to JR, a cute one.
Anyway, my tax preparer was a darker, pock-faced, older guy, who wore slightly dark glasses and a dark leather jacket. He seemed a bit bulky and almost as tall as me. Maw thought he was Samoan. And he did remind me of Pete in the way he worked — soft spoken and VERY knowledgeable. Plus, he knows what’s he doing for ten years or so. We shook hands and he went to work on my VERY simple paper work. But his breath was reeking with contamination! I inhaled a couple of his coughs but quickly covered my mouth and nose in proper respect for us women. I assume he is Muslim because the guy I dated had the same type of BAD BREATH the day after the crying over the death of his beloved mother. Yeah, right!
I wasn’t sure if he or the receptionist was Hispanic because of their dark clothing. Nonetheless, I really wanted someone else to help me prepare my taxes for the year of 2010. I’m familiar with the most common forms but there was one that caught me off guard and I wanted to be sure that it was filed properly. I usually prepare my PERSONAL taxes through other software/online and as long as I pay in full, the IRS really doesn’t bother me all that much. I just want to “spread the wealth” by pulling my weight around according to the current laws, regulations, rules and other control mechanisms to keep us monkeys from eating too much bananas for our own good.
With all that said, I was amazed at how efficiently he worked and navigated around the screens by using the keyboard very well. During the last few minutes of my one-hour allotted time indoors with the professional, I noticed something else with his eyes. The right eye as some sort of cloudiness of yellow to green over the front of the pupil. I thought to myself if anyone helped the guy take out that possible cataracts. Then again I imagined that he might have been injured during a war. Whatever the case, his functioning left eye worked well enough to get the job done.
Tonight’s encounter with the tax preparer was yet another symbolic “Horus”, the one-eyed, ancient Egyptian god of the sky. To this day, I don’t know how I could continue to notice these occurrences because they are nothing out of the ordinary. And I certainly don’t understand why I should bother reporting what I feel is a wake-up call to something beyond me.
