En route to pick up the vacuum cleaner around 2:15pm, I noticed “southbound” a bell-shaped puffy cloud of white against serrated horizontal stretchmarks in the background of mostly gray purple color.
En route “northbound” after picknig up the vacuum cleaner, I noticed a LONG stretch of cloud from “north” all the way “south”. There was a definite “edge” separating the cloud bank above from the light blue skies below. Mixture of clouds were seen.
Earlier tonight, I saw a long band of white cloud stretching parallel but beyond the length of Mt. Hamilton. The very dark blue skies could be barely seen through the mixture of fluffy, puffy clouds of white.
