60-Day Amnesty Program Details insideDuring the amnesty period, San Jose residents can license dogs and cats with no citations, late fees or penalties between September 1, 2011 to October 31, 2011. After this period, owners of unlicensed pets are subject to late *[fees] and/or citations.
Please note: All dogs and cats are required to have current rabies vaccinations before being licensed. The San Jose Animal Care Center will offer the rabies vaccine for only $5.00 on selected items. Visit www.sanjosenanimals.com for details.
