Wednesday tonight will be a Seder dinner at our local parish hall. We won’t be going this year because tickets are sold out (per a weekly bulletin).
In the past, we had either the droopy-eyed Poi or the sour-faced Carlos competing with each other to give people like us tickets to the annual Seder dinner.
The food, prayers and presentation are the same. I love the mint and lamb. The closing remarks by the unmarried/childless Poi is good. Carlos and his wife Glorious usually volunteer a servers.
So I don’t know why we can’t be served Hindi or Islamic food and learn their prayers and why these sort of Jewish events has to infiltrate Catholicism.
