Is revolution always good?

There are no “good” revolutionary events. All it does is create death and destruction. Revolution is just another euphemistic word for “war”, a form of population control/harvesting between the dumb who believe change is a progressive good for the public interest and the dumber who believe that regressive bad will send everyone back into the stone age, which would be building monolithic wonders, such as the pyramids.

There have been an amazing number of revolutions and uprisings in the world this year. Are they always good events? What makes a revolution a progressive or regressive event?
