For those Latino journalists, there is ABSOLUTELY nothing wrong with using the word “illegal” in front of “immigrants” and of “aliens”. If all of you are going to get politically correct, then there should be a Black Press, an Asian Press, a White Press, an Indian Press, a Native Press, etc. The list could go on.
An “undocumented worker” is straight forward. It means the person is not part of the Union. Without being an invited guest worker to the Union, the person climbing the high walls bordering Mexico and the United States, is essentially “illegal”.
There is nothing “illegal” about crossing the border. But since we are not birds flying in the sky or “where the deers and the antelopes play”, we as humans have too many rules, laws, regulations and other frivolous “controls” to keep the peace.
That’s why it’s currently “illegal” to get away in a martial law society.
