If I am left to decide how to decide by myself, my impulse would get the better of me and of course into lots of trouble. I do have a pro/con list. If the “honor system” fails after compiling my long list, then corrective action is taken. Asking friends for advice complicates my personal decision making process; so I avoid friends. Just trusting my instincts are not as precise and that’s where I rely on the wiser, older and more experienced people for guidance. Overall, I make my decision, which, in any situation, is based on merit.
