Flynn's Paws: My Thoughts, My Gripes

At 6:50pm, I was at the computer station browsing online. Suddenly, I heard a familiar series of beeping tones: “[Low! Low! High!”]

I quickly got up from my lawn chair, headed over to the fax machine in my bedroom, removed a maroon-colored hand towel, and know damn well that I had DISCONNECTED the “phone in” line from the wall to save on fax machine film!

After the familiar series of tones, there is the usual pause until the next series of tones. But it stopped after the second tone. I wonder who is trying to reach me at a land line that I hardly use. I should just disconnect my phone service and donate the item.
