At around 3:52pm, a white woman with long, curly auburn hair slipped on one of the steps going downstairs. I just passed her “left” side while going upstairs. That’s how potent my energy level is: Those who don’t pay attention will get hurt. One Asian lady was in front of her and inquired if the fallen one was okay. But she got up and walked slowly downward again. She was wearing high heels and a long brown coat.
A few months ago, the three of us finished shopping at Hancock Fabrics. We were walking down a corridor towards the exit. A young white mother was seated to the right of her young son. I stared at the boy whose wide-eyed gaze of blue eyes were locked on mine.
He was happy and smiled. He started to squirm towards his left side and fell right off the wooden bench. He hit his head against the wall with a “thud” and started to cry. His mother was VERY slow in responding and didn’t react with much concern but gently picked up her crying toddler.
So who is next to get hurt?
