Early Morning Mass – Day Six

We missed the fourth and fifth early morning masses for “Simbang Gabi”. Today, we heard the “5pm Youth Choir” perform. Little Claire was there to sing. They were VERY good with harmonies and played instruments well, such as keyboard and guitars. The microphone system made a few howling noises, drowning out their beautiful voices.

The reception had the normal food of egg sandwiches (my favorite), fresh-cut, wedges of oranges, cookes, porridge (of chicken and vegetables) and of either coffee and tea for drinks. The surprise today was a performance by the “Fil-Am Vets Rondolla”. One guy did a medley for Filipino musics – traditional and a few Christmas. Maw donated some money and we got a CD of ten of their musics.

This time we didn’t have to put away the tables and chairs. I went to work early again for the third time this year because I’m wide awake.
