I do NOT understand the difference between living a life forwards and/or backwards. Fund-a-mental-ly, we are simply living. We live for another day — a concept of looking forward on better days. Days where life is filled with more convenience and vacations, too.
Looking back, our ancestors worked hard and tilled the land. They were farmers and reaped their rewards from whatever fruits were produced — produce and livestock. And the resources were free, no banksters, Mammon, money, utility bills or evil.
People simply lived for another day in harmony. Nowadays, people are lazy, forgetful and uncaring. I see more spite than love, anger than work, resentment than fortitude and hatred for anything other than putting food on the table.
I see we should be living life as if tomorrow were here and now but some continue to take small steps and longer strides backwards, wanting to go back to their roots, their land, their heritage, their forefathers and whatever they hold dear as culture is watered down by technology.
Go forward. Don’t look back. And so with each turn of a page, a chapter in life is read and another book of life is finished until something new comes along — different plot, charaters and flow of the story. No. We all live with some history and knowledge of the past to better off our future — together
