So while we are on the subject of diversity, yesterday I was shopping for groceries with Dad. I felt uncomfortable shopping at a ‘fresh food’ grocery store, though suggested by Das Squirrel. Due to my impatient nature, I don’t look at the HIGH prices, knowing the selected food items are unique and of course – fresh. I quickly dodged shoppers, almost running them over with my reddish cart and tried my best to exit hastily.
Today, I was interviewing for a job where males have a tendency for foul and offensive language. I’m NOT too uncomfortable around those with potty mouths and faltered with my answers. (I guess I was making myself impalpable for full-time jobs; so I can stay home and do nothing!)
So if and when I do get a job, I hope that diversity will work in my favor. If not, I’m stuck for the next twelve to seventeen years before retirement. With that said, I can’t do anything for myself, thanks to diversity. I would have thrived much better with my own kinds, who only understand themselves. Then again, I don’t look like my own kinds, and thusly so, I do NOT get along with them. Weird. Never mind.
