You know what? Our relatives expect us to show off – attend parties, dress up in fancy clothes, drive luxury cars and brag about it online (i.e. Facebook).
You know what? They can go to hell. I know lots of dirt about them. Most Filipinos came from NOTHING and were once dirty poor. I believe that is why they avoid my parents and me, including the boy and the her.
You know what? We already have security and well it’s all we have to prove – paid off house with a second story extension and patio out back, seven paid off cars and retirement, except me.
You know what? Our faith is strong. We don’t worship aloud but only attend daily mass. We don’t do prayer groups and kneel in front of scary, life-sized religious statues of a bleeding man, mourning woman or a Buddha!
You know what? We worked hard for the money and pay taxes like everyone else. We pay our bills on time and are not dead beats or cheat on others or employers. We don’t abuse our holidays, sick times or vacations.
You know what? We don’t complain if you screw us over. We just close the door behind us and pray your souls don’t go to hell. Frankly, we don’t give a damn if you hate us.
You can see how beautiful the faces of those who are at peace. You may compare the ugly faces of my relatives not so much online but get to know them in person and you will feel how awful their bad energies.
