Design is not art https://medium.com/design-ux/d229af10c167 via DuckDuckGo for Android
Over the past decades as design in all its forms developed and started having bigger and bigger impact on our daily lives a certain confusion tagged along. A confusion that design is a form of art.
- Art creates problems. Design solves problems.
- Art is interpretative. Design is unanimous.
- Art is exploration. Design is observation and iteration.
- Art has no goal. Design has specific goal.
- Art is creating for the artist. Design is creating for the end user.
- Design is engineering.

I’ve read this article slowly and completely and now understand the difference between art and design. This helps with “tagging” my weblog, in which I share mostly art. But I remove both tags because of the confusion.
