Write page three of your autobiography.
Year three. It was a bad year. A younger brother was born. She could see competition already. Those happy little dark brown eyes have turned red with jealousy and from crying her eyes out. No longer was she the center of attention. This time it was the little bundle of joy, Junior. Her world turned upside-down and joy left her, for fear she was NOT being loved enough by both parents. She tried to pull the head of her brother through the narrow openings on the side crib. She was not strong enough to hold her brother and almost dropped him a couple of times. She struggled with these feelings of hurt and rejection. She especially didn’t want to be separated from her mother. It was an anxiety attack of being left behind. If Junior was being carried, she would always wanted to be carried. She was happy to be carried and pouted severely when things didn’t go her way. Eventually, she would come to learn and love Junior. It took her awhile to find happiness around her baby brother. A smiled would form when he smiled. And smiled he always did…
