Write about anything you’d like. Somewhere in your post, include the sentence, “I heard the car door slam, and immediately looked at the clock.”
Numerous times I would get in the car and notice numbers on my dashboard. Sometimes I take notes or photos on/from my smartphone. But there is no point in recording everything that catches my attention. We were late to leave the house and at 07:50am, “I heard the car door slam, and immediately looked at the clock.” But my attention was riveted upon this morning’s dashboard reading of 39,433 (Mazda Protege). In excitement and after starting up the car, I squirmed in my seat and imagined where my handbag was located. It was too far back behind me on the passenger seat and I couldn’t reach it. So I tried (with whatever memory cells remain) to recall the double-digit number, in the hopes of blogging about it later on. The clock. Many times I would see the symbolism but NOT understand. And email from Irene C. and the invitation to LinkIn was time-stamped 1:55pm. The numbers of “five” are appearing more frequently but not as much as the “ones, twos, threes and fours”.
