Go back in time to an event you think could have played out differently for you. Let alternate history have its moment: tell us what could, would or should have happened?
Back in December 2005, I was chatting with a VERY old soul predating the time of ancient Egypt. He invited me to visit him but I NOT too sure about letting my guard down this time. You see, I’ve chatted with strangers online via the Yahoo! Messenger system. I’ve kept most of the .dat files but don’t know how to retrieve that data. I have saved some on either .txt or .doc files, in case I want to pull up some weird stuff.
Anyway, if I could have just jumped into a plane, get scanned/groped by the TSA agents, hop off the plane and run into the arms of the chump, I’d be in heaven. Nay! Many times I was duped into that imagined scenario – to be reunited with a “twin soul”. Some how I’ve had a feeling that I wasn’t supposed to just take off without first consulting my brain cells/gray matter and jogging around the miniscule remnants of common sense.
In reality, many times Maw had advised me to travel in groups and NOT alone. She is a protective person. Besides, I’ve never had reason to just travel without my parents. I really had no friends who would just drive the 500 miles just to see some stranger I met online. Great. So there you have it, folks. I could have been happy, I would have been married and should have avoided chatting online!
Now I may have been placed on the CIA list BEFORE meeting all these strangers online. It was almost like these events were supposed to have happened, even as I blog this post. After a few more heart-wrenching decisions, I may also be on the FBI list. (Hark! I hear Evil Kitty snickering in the background. Bad girl!)
Have no fear, fools. I’m harmless as long as you don’t get in my way of living within “normal” parameters. Just observing everything, taking notes and still wondering if we could “just get along” without suspecting each other of wrong doing. Don’t believe me either. Use your critical thinking skills and get a life!
