Write a piece about a typically “local” experience from where you come from as though it’s an entry in a travel guide.
Mine is fictional because I don’t “get around town”.
Welcome to Candyland. It’s not just for fun and games! Here you can romp through the sweetened roads and taste everything sweet. Here are various tarty-flavored lollipops for licking your troubles away. Don’t hesitate to try our Chocolate River. It’s rich in flavinoids, which helps the heart. And over there you can ride our marshmallow trains. Those will take you on a smooth, soft ride to you cottage made out of gingerbread.
Once inside, you will be greeted by a gingerman. Don’t fear his appearance for he is your butler. You will find all the comforts of home, a powder puff sofa chair, a microwave television for when you need to warm up your snack without having to leave your living room, a bedroom of popsicle sticks with gummy bears.
Other amenities include a kitchen, a WiFi ready room with unlimited access to popcorns and a balcony for fresh air of black licorice.
So come on over and enjoy a weekend. Bring your family. Don’t forget the pet dogs and cats. There are snack-filled hotels for them, too.
