You’re on a long flight, and a palm reader sitting next to you insists she reads your palm. You hesitate, but agree. What does she tell you?

Photographers, artists, poets: show us HANDS.

She would ask me: “Are you married? Do you have a boyfriend? What’s his name? Do you know Julie S’s son? He is nice.”

Actually, this was an old co-worker. One day, this South Asian Indian offered to paint some henna design on the palm of our hands. The Filipino mother she mentioned is still a good friend of Maw. Both used to be co-workers. Her two sons are VERY nice to their divorced mother. The father went to the Philippines. As per an owner of an automobile place, he said that the trend for older Filipino guys living in America is to go home to the Philippines and marry younger Filipino girls, who would be their wives just for food and money!
