Write a Q&A-style interview with an inanimate object.
Moi: Egg. Tell me. Which came first, the chicken or the egg?
Egg: Ah! The egg, of course. We were fashioned in vast quantities. From there, we were placed into our beloved forests. But the damn Asians ate our people and sold many of our children abroad, only to be cloned and consumed daily.
Moi: So how do you cope with your situation?
Egg: I sit still inside my foam or carton egg and hibernate inside the cold refrigerator until a human sets one of us free.
Moi: Then what happens?
Egg: I bite them!
Moi: You bite people?
Egg: Not exactly. Sometimes if they are careless a few pieces of egg shells either stabs them or accidentally gets into the food.
Moi: Is that it?
Egg: Not quite. If they are careless, I kick them, too.
Moi: Really?
Egg: Yeah, sometimes I kick so hard that I slip from their hands and crash to the floor and break.
Moi: So you either get eaten our trashed.
Egg: Yeah, it’s a sad fate for us eggs. Some of us endure painful experimentions for humanity from bio-engineering creatures/monsters/weaponry to vaccination/flu/booster shots.
Moi: Well, I must apologize to you and the rest of your fallen eggs and I thank you for telling us your story. But if you could tell the while world why an egg should not undergo such harsh treatment, here is your chance.
Egg: Thank you. I hope everyone realizes that taking the life of an egg is not good. People should chose life. We may be small in comparison to you but we have feelings too. Eggs are supposed to grow up into beautiful birds. Instead you chose death and let your hunger destroy our happy family.
Moi: Thank you, Egg. Now I hope that everyone will reconsider the misuse/abuse of eggs. They are our friends and mean us no harm. Wouldn’t it be nice to see how they hatch?
