Tell us about the time you rescued someone else (person or animal) from a dangerous situation. What happened? How did you prevail?
Photographers, artists, poets: show us BOLD.
Yesterday, Maw was on “high gear” (from her asthma treatment).
As I was “mopping” our wooden floor, I noticed a tiny baby spider. Maw was handling the “floor cleaner” and got impatient that she spray around the area where the baby was trapped.
I blocked the chemical spray with my left hand and tried to encourage it to climb atop the birdcage cover. It stepped on the sprayed area and I panicked and it finally climbed on the cotton material.
I hurriedly brought the baby and material outdoors and placed it on the thick tree branch of our fruit tree, where a much smaller baby spider was placed after discovering it indoors a few days earlier.
*Off-topic rant: That’s when I discovered LoLinda’s camera pointed into our backyard from atop her roof via a protruding brown pipe. No legal remedy could be sought here thanks to the post 9/11 escapades and their spy-happy freaks…
