Daily Prompt: Back to the Future
Anachronism (noun): an error in chronology; a person or thing that’s chronologically out of place. Write a story in which a person or thing is out of place, or recount a time when you felt out of place.
Photographers, artists, poets: show us ANACHRONISM.
I blogged about this a long time ago. It was a “test” by TPTB and pals. The reptoid gave me a bogus airline flight number and time of arrival at San Francisco Airport. I showed up and waited at the bogus arrival area and didn’t see him.
I left and headed off to the bathroom area – the women’s door to the right and the men’s door immediately to the left. I let out a “thought” – “Where are you? I’m here!” I paused in my tracks, squinted my eyes, stared in between both doors and suddenly saw the toid emerge from the men’s door!’
“I thought you wouldn’t come!” Said the toid as he raked his pointy tongue across his buck-teeth – a nervous habit he would do CONSTANTLY! I was both relieved but curious because he seemed to come out from behind a white guy, who exited at the same “time” – a virtual “game of confidence” at the highest level.
Yup. It was one of many weird times because the door wasn’t even wide enough for two people to “come through”! It was almost as if he wasn’t supposed to have been there.
I have scanned my hand written notes and my printed flight scheduled for my records, which is on my personal computer and/on online somewhere in cyberspace for “snooping” to validate MY personal experience.
