20221019-2144. Wow! I am guessing the functionality is still tied to the self-hosted platform; whereas the full-service platform can’t seem to update my Connections with social media platforms!
So tried many times but the Marketing and Integrations section refuses to connect my Twatter account. This is the message I would receive:
“A Jetpack Social connection for this blog ID and Keyring connection ID already exists. You should be able to find it via the `/sites/$site/publicize-connections` endpoint.“
I’m assuming this feature appears for each post prior to publication. I would see these as a customized SEO feature and the paragraph would read as:
“This post will be shared on all your enabled social media accounts the moment you publish the post. Share when publishing”
I’ve tried that for the last few posts, but I do NOT see that posts on my Twatter account, which is fine because, like I said, I only get ONE freaking view per Twatter post from this blog.
It’s because the Twatter algorithms only allow viewership when fools, err, users, post directly under the Twatter platform and NOT as a shared link to Twatter accounts.
See? This is the nonsense of junk technology we get because we are NOT allowed nice things! Only those who can afford to pay for better stuff get better results; while we get stuck with these complications.
Phooey! I think that’s why I had to leave this blogging platform because I can “see” that it’s NOT driving viewership without the extra gadgets, bells and whistles.
And rightfully so, those who rant about nothing and contribute nothing to society get to be put way on the bottom of the list where poop accumulates.
