Per notes taken on 20130914-0928am via my smartphone: During this morning’s sermon, our local pastor mentioned the “caduceus,” the symbol of medicine, and how people are healed by looking at a “serpent of bronze” held up by Moses. I was surprised that last night’s blog about “encouraging” Filipinos to seek medical intervention was reflected in this morning’s sermon! Yeah, so although there are those who advocate that the body can heal itself, advanced medical technology is available for those who need “extra help”.
